But I'm extremely reluctant to do it - I do not trust him. And there's a very good reason for that. This guy seems to have gone back and forth from being and not being my ex-boyfriend's best friend millions of times. And both of them have hurt me and fucked me over for each other millions of times. So, do you think I should go see this guy? I don't think I will. They're notorious liars. I remember my ex persistently told me for almost an entire year that he was a virgin (though somehow I always was skeptical to believe him). Then one night this guy, his little "best friend", called to tell him about some random girl he had sex with who was saying she could be pregnant. And I was there when he called, listening to what they were saying. I wasn't surprised, not at all, since I had suspected the truth all along, though I was still very very hurt. I asked him, "I thought you said you were a virgin?" and these were his exact words: "Oh, I lied to you. I've had sex so many times." And that was how I discovered the truth, after almost a year. To this day I wonder how many other nasty little things he lied to me about. Gotta be SO careful about trusting men... if you want to stay safe you have to be skeptical about every word that comes out of their mouth. Trust me, I learned that lesson the not so easy way.
