I need to break the news to my parents, so how do I get their approval? my dad is really really protective of me. is 16 too young. I mean people can drive at 16, so why can't I start dating? I think that 16 is a very reasonable age.

We talked about it and both of us agreed that we wanted to have sex with each other. So after that we didn't really date but we had a lot of sex every time we had the opportunity.. Then you can introduce the person to your parents as a friend, and if they're impressed you can tell them. 16 is a great age to start dating.
