Do you think long distance relationships can work, or is it even worth a try??

I think it depends on the people involved. Touch is an important part of the relationship for me, so I probably wouldn't be albe to do it. But there are couples who have the capacity to work it out long-distance.

I'm in one. It's working.

I'm in one, mind you, its only because he's in Australia for a vacation with his family but he's gone all summer :(
but it's currently long distance and apart from missing each other like mad, it's going supremely well.
It does take a lot of effort from both parties though. And as long as you dont mind doing something a little extra for that person while being apart, its definitely worth it :)

I have little faith in them.

Long distance relationships can work if both partners are willing to put forth the effort.  In a way long distance relationships show you wether or not you truly love a person or if someone truly loves you.

If you try really hard and trust each other. And really love each other.

Yes, they can. It's just harder.. takes a lot of effort, and you have to miss them all the time. But it's worth it in the end, because once the distance is over, you know you're strong enough as a couple to get through the rough stuff.

this, a relationship where you can't even see each other isn't much of a relationship and you have to really care about each other to make it a real relationship,
