I need some GOOD music to get over a situation I am having.

I listed to Frankie J - I don't wanna try not more
Justin Timberlake - Too late to apologize
(And don't laugh at my song list, so far, lol, ok well whatever, laugh because I laugh after typing it)

The scoop:
Me and my ex broke up after almost 3 years of solid dating. No breaks. Then all of the sudden we get into an argument because I brought something up (because I wanted to know) and the argument escalated for two days and she decided it wasn't going to work out. Didn't give me a real reason why and I was the one that was weak, trying to ask her to work things out. I was the one that told her I missed her, I didnt get a response on anything. It was just simple "it's not going to work out" and she's gone.

Two months after we break up, today she tells me she fucked up. She didnt realize she hurt me and said sorry about 10x's... Because I said thank you for saying sorry does that mean I accept her apology? I gave her my all and she left me to die. I thought we would last for ever but the jokes on me and I should have known better.

She's the one who left me and basically said she didn't need me. I was the one standing outside the door in the rain wanting to work things out.

NOW I need some music to help me get over this.. as tempting as I want accept her offer and give her a second chance... it's too late to apologize...i don't care. Im over it.

You guys need real closure.

Plus it's response:
The Fiction We Live - From Autumn to Ashes

Also,

Love's not a competition - Kaiserchiefs
Paramore did a good cover of this song, though.

i kind of think maybe you shoulg give her a second chance, one arguement and mistake shouldnt mess up something that was good for 3 yrs (im assuming)
but for some getting over it music,
theres:
one to the next one-escape the fate
gone forever-3 days grace (thats a reeeallly god one)
hate(i really dont like you)- the plain white tee's (also a really good one)

well first of all. "waiting in the rain" not gonna work. MAN UP dude. thats very feminine. 2nd. dont listen to fucking justin timberlake. listen to shit thats heavy like metallica or system of a down. it makes you forget about sadness and makes you want to punch someone in the face.

Good for you.  As for the music I can't really help you, but you should start going out and hanging out with friends so that she knows your done.
KeiDesTat Posted at 9:17 pm on July 15, 2009
actually it doesn't sound like your over it...why not give her a second chance but this time approach things with a realistic outlook, when things get that bad again and you know that its not going to work then fine its over, but if you felt that strongly for her...its not worth giving it all up over that

Well if you want a quick smile....

Brinkmannjg Posted at 9:17 pm on July 15, 2009
You probably shouldn't listen to music relevant to the situation then, wont that just keep it on your mind?

Bump some techno

Radiohead always makes me happy though, their In Rainbows album.
