Yeah i guess that's true. My boyfriend and I have both gained a lot of weight in the years we've been together. I am actively making an effort to lose the weight, but he isn't which is slightly annoying. I still love him though and want to be with him anyway The fact that you even say it is "slightly annoying" seems to obviously go against the "he won't care" idea. Caring about an issue doesn't mean that it's break up worthy right then and there. I'd be lying to say that my partner's weight doesn't matter to me, but I'd also be lying to try to imply that other things aren't more important.
yeah, you're right. well, i think it's more that he doesn't mind how i look right now even though i've gained weight and i slightly mind how he looks because of how he hasn't even tried to eat better/exercise more since he's gained weight. i've never brought it up to him. i think i'm just full of contradictions. |

he's the type of person who doesn't gain weight no matter what he eats so that can't happen |

see i think that's fine because you both seem to be okay with it and at least understand each other. on the other hand there might be couples who wouldn't be as comfortable with their partners putting on weight like that. |

If he judges you based on your weight, he's not worth your time. Also, I've heard you aren't fat by any means and that you're the dumbest person on lw.
i think you're dumb
Is that so? |

that's a load of bollocks. but OP you're really nowhere near being fat at all.
To a certain extent, it is true but only after you've been in a relationship for a while. If both of you gain weight as you relationship progresses, then you're in the clear. |
