Sunshine Baby Posted at 10:35 pm on Aug. 21, 2006
I'm a fairly shy person, & I haven't dated in almost 2 years.

How can I :

a)  show affection / show him I like him ?

b)  make a move ?

c)  plan dates that won’t turn out boring ?

d)  leave him wanting me more, appear mysterious, etc.

e)  keep a relationship exciting ?

a)  show affection / show him I like him ?
Little things - like grabbing his hand, looking into his eyes from across the room, or from wherever you are, and when he looks don't look away.

b)  make a move ?
You obivously could do it yourself - or wait for him to make a move. Just lean into him, if you're going for a kiss, and you know if the time feels right or not, if it doesn't, slowly go past and kiss his cheek. The other way is to kiss him on the cheek, and slowly move closer to his mouth each time you're both more comfortable

c)  plan dates that won't turn out boring ?
Do something you both enjoy. I've heard bowling is good, it allows to play the game  - and if conversation isn't flowing, you can go and hit some pins. It can also be fairly intimate - act as though you don't know how to bowl ... And then you can go for a meal afterwards. Do not do cinema to start with - you can't talk and get to know each other.

d)  leave him wanting me more, appear mysterious, etc.
Don't tell him everything about you is the obvious one. And a good way to leave him wanting more is to promise him something for the next date.

e)  keep a relationship exciting ?
Do new things is obvious. As you get to know someone you'll get to know what they do and do not like. Just make memories, or do things that you think will make memories. You'll enjoy yourself more ...

Hope that helped - I've never actually dated...
