The option 1/4 should be banned from poll options.

I would love to, but then when I have a meaningful (yeah...right) poll I can try to keep those who are in it just for points a bit away from screwing up the result.

Aye
LostInTheClouds Posted at 10:34 pm on July 28, 2008
Agreed.

I think that it should be taken away and replaced with a response that would be relevant to the topic.

Most people are just out for the points, so even with the 1/4 option, people are still going and voting blind... I think that it just makes more sense to get rid of it.

I'd say leave it there.  It makes the poll more accurate because if its not in there, some people aren't going to look at the poll anyways and just vote for the first thing they see for 1/4th of a point.

yes

sushishef Posted at 10:33 pm on July 28, 2008
No, because it prevents point whores from just picking a random/the stupidest answer

And poll makers would simply write an alternative.

eh, doesnt affect me either way.

I like you're pic of 'the joker' btw.

Kankalicious Posted at 10:31 pm on July 28, 2008
Eh, I'm indifferent. On one hand, it is basically a worthless contribution, but on the other hand, if results are really being sought, they would be skewed by assholes who just click an option for pointzzzzzZZZZz

They keep the polls accurate, because people want points whether or not they know or care about the issue.
