It needs to happen. Even with the written guidlines, more needs to be done to fit with the meaning of the board.

Topics asking what the effects of some drugs are, does not technically violate the rules of the forum. Moderators even post in those. Asking about experiences that you have had while high does not techically violate the rules.

Here are many examples.

None of these topics fit with the purpose of the forum. These were all on the first page.

It is not Teen Alcohol and Substance Discussion. It is about abuse. That's what it's in the SUPPORT section.

1 of 3 things need to happen.

1. MAJOR crackdown on the forums, to remove any and all topics that do not fit in helping people who are abusing substances.

2. Change the policy of the forum.

3. Make another drug forum, exclusively for discussion.

This just does not need to be in the support section of the site. I know when people say that this site is a support site, people get dubious. I myself am guilty of that. That is why we have a section for discussion. But, within this site, there is a SUPPORT SECTION. Even if you don't want to consider LiveWire a  purely support site, at least let the support section have its pride.

Agreed. The TASA forum needs an overhaul. Also I move to ban the 'dont do drugs' ect anti-druggie talk as it provides no contribution. Ever.

That is true. But asking about what drugs you have done, what you do while on drugs, what the effects are etc, also do not provide contribution.

I don't see many complaints about drug abuse ever though :/ it seems like if it became strictly for problems with abuse, it would always be empty.

Even though it has to be that way because this IS a support site.
