Support Leaders' moderations (moving topics, hiding topics) get the names on it, so why should Moderators get the veil of secrecy?
Quote: from JennyColada at 2:54 am on Dec. 29, 2008 Jeeze. Or maybe she was kidding. My sarcasm detector was broken from all those capital letters and exclamation points. Even if she's serious, what she said doesn't negate or add to my point. I made a general suggestion, and she tried to make it into a personal thing. I stated that my suggestion was not aimed at her in general, and I used the evidence that people who were uninvolved in the situation agreed with my suggestion. By the way, I am perfectly fine with her moderation action. Any argument I'd make would not pass the muster of a MER, and it's just a website, really. I can see why she might think this is a personal affront, but it's really not. If she wants to believe that it is, though, she's entitled to do so, but she should be advised that it's an incorrect belief.

The timing of the topic (right after having your topic deleted) kind of just indicated that you might have wanted to discuss the reasons behind it, and she was making that option available. We get that you aren't bitching about it.
There's no need for anyone to have tittyfits over this.
But it's pretty absurd, you know. To support a change and then say you don't care when a mod gives you the openness you claimed to desire.
If you don't care, why would you make a topic to preach the need for open discussion? You want us to be open. So I am and all I hear is that you don't care. YOU REALLY PROVED YOUR POINT!!!!!

I really can't believe that you're blowing your top like this. I bear you no ill will, and I see two of your fellow Mods, plus a lot of other people--who have no dog in the fight--voicing their support. They just think that it's a good idea.
Did I mention you specifically in my original post? No. Did I state my idea as a general improvement? Yes.
Is every potential idea directed as a criticism of you? No.
Or maybe everyone else who said it was a good idea secretly hates you.
I deleted your topic.
Wonderful. Listen, that's the sound of no one caring.

I would support this 100% to be honest. It would erase the need for a whole lot of unnecessary topics.

I lol'd at this.
