Last night I had a goodbye party for my basketball team. We made it on a beach and my brother helped me with all the planning and organization, and music and stuff...
I decided to make the party to say goodbye to all my new friends in the basketball team because I have to leave to the army for two years and I won’t be able to play with them as a team anymore because we only have an U-19 girls team in the town (and it’s not even professional...).
I also wanted to thank all of them for helping me to overcome some of my social issues.
Anyways, the party was really great and heart touching. I told the girls the most my story, the bullying, the physical abuse, my pretty stupid psychological traumas, the suicide attempt, ignoring and neglecting my real problems, being on antidepressants...
I told them that the main reason I joined the team at the first place was trying to find a way to overcome my shyness and sociophobia, and how grateful I am for playing with them and them helping me in improving my social skills and social life.
In the end of the party I gave them personal letters and my contact info. Today when I signed in I was surprised, I had two messages. One of them even told me that she couldn’t believe that I was going through all of that, I never showed that many signs. We talked about three hours... she seems so nice and really want to help...:)
I’m so glad I made that party. It’s such an easier and better way of saying goodbye to all those girls, I will miss them!

Just wanted to share...

That sounds very touching. I'm glad you have people like that in your life that will stand by you. Good luck in the Army!
Thank you.

I wish everyone will find people like them... :)
