Billions of people live malnourished and literally fear the next day because they might day. Step in their shoes and suddenly your "miserable existence" doesn't look so goddamn bad afterall. If you are upset about being alone in highschool you have every opportunity to fix it as long as you don't expect stupid shit like being super popular or whatever. Thee are clubs at school, fucking join some, play a sport or join the cross country team or student council or even band or the kids that play dungeons and dragons or magic the gathering. Don't try to impress them and put yourself in a bad situation be humble and friendly and interested in their lives rather than expect them to suddenly be interested in yours.
