This is what I hate about my life. How whenever I arrange anything social I always get this pressure. Like right now I'm wondering if this friend even wants to see me tomorrow.

I'm texting one of my best friends, who Ive hung out with everyday of school. Ive stayed at his house and we go out to clubs together.

We arranged that I would go down to his house someday this week. He lives about a 10 min drive away.

He's really bad for not texting back for some reason, even my mates say it.

I texted him last night. "Ill go down Friday ok?" No reply.

I texted him today the same message, no reply. So i texted "cmon man don't leave me in the dark! text back!" and he texts:

yeah what time?

and I text back when ever suits you. No reply. so i text 10 mins later 2pm then? no reply

Wtf is the deal with that? Cos its not like hes trying to drop me hints that he doesnt want me as a friend or shit, because we're pretty close. We've known each other for years and shit.

Does this happen to you guys, or am I just retarded?

i can be like that. i'm a girl but, you know... anyway.

if someone doesn't call me and practically orders me to go wherever at whatever time, the plan falls.

Ha one of my mates is the exact same as that!!!!
And then I'd go to him "Why didn't you text back?"
"Oh my phone was fucked" Ha that's his answer everytime!

Some people are just strange.....

acalypha Posted at 7:25 am on Aug. 21, 2008

SteveIgnorant Posted at 6:42 am on Aug. 21, 2008

Well when you leave school altogether you'll find out who your real friends are, not just the ones that were your friends because you saw them everyday at school. That's what a friend of mine said to me last night as he's just left school for Uni.

So maybe this guy just isn't one of your real friends afterall. It's something to consider.

Maybe if everyone else says he does that to, maybe he just doesn't always text back.

If your so close, why are you so worried?

I know that when I get busy I sometimes forget my phone is around- I hate waiting for texts and often forget that I am in the middle of a convo. That said, it sounds like you are being avoided, because it is a lot of no replies.

I know someone like that... it's impossible to plan with them unless I ring them. I don't get it either...
