Nah my brothers alright when it come to that, it doesn't bother him too much. Infact he doesn't care at all which is a bit worrying. Although if his own mates say something about me, that would be a different story. |

| I am the older brother to a 17 year old sister. Fortunately I am in college and she isn't yet. I talk to her several times a week on the phone and by email and text so we have a great relationship. She knows the kinds of guys that I would strongly object to but I trust her judgment. She knows that I think most guys are jerks and what to look for. |

| I don't really talk to my younger sister's boyfriend. I worry a lot about her and about his personality, but I don't feel I can say anything. She gets upset pretty quickly.. |

| I am 1 of 4, I have 2 sisters and an older brother. I am the youngest. My brother is the oldest. He wasn't as protective over my other two sisters as they are close in age to him (they are 24 and he is 26). I'm 18 and he is very protective of me. When i first told him i had a boyfriend he was apprehensive and gave me the eyebrow. He met my boyfriend and my boyfriend was terrified of him. I had to ask my brother's permission for my boyfriend to stay over night. But now my boyfriend and my brother are really good friends. They get on very well. |

| I'm the younger sister of an older brother, and yes he is very protective of me. It's funny when i used to go pub with him he used to joke about saying things to his mates. Also when I used to go into where he worked used to be like remember that's my little sister your on about. However now I'm 16 (for another 10 hours) and he just doesn't seem as interested but I know he still cares |

I get a bit defensive if my sisters are being called "hot, "sexy", etc. They get it all the time, kinda gets me worried, and whenver they hang out with guys i tend to be overprotective. I need to stop being such a fascist though, let them enjoy their own freedom i guess. |

| If you girls have an older brother or older brothers, do they act hostile towards guys that show you attention or your boyfriends? Because my mates that have younger sisters go mad/weird when they see a lad chatting up their sister. And they go absolutely insane if I joke saying their sister is hot...... My brother always gets annoyed when my sister starts talking about her boyfriend, and when her boyfriend comes round to the house, my brother always ignores him. He's done this to all of my sisters boyfriends? But seeing as she's my older sister, I don't really care? Is this the same with everyone? |
