Be there for her...it will be hard for you, but it's so much harder for her, and she needs you right now.  Tell her how beautiful you think she is, and say that her mother has warped her mind...she is perfectly fine in terms of weight.  Of course, depending on how long her mother has been making her feel like this, and how long her eating disorder has gone on, she might be past the point where your words can help.  She probably needs therapy, even if it's just a guidance counselor...and her mom needs to be taught a lesson by a therapist!  I think it's disgusting how a parent can warp their child's mind like that...

my mom is like that too. lately she's been obsessed with everyone's weight including herself. pm me

this. but don't ever call her out like that again. eating disorders aren't something to thrust out into the light of day. she needs therapy.

That made me cry. You need to tell her you'll always be there for her. Tell her shes beautiful the way she is and that you wouldnt want her any other way. Make her feel loved and let her forget about the shit her mom's shoving down her throat.

You need to talk to her and she needs to get some counseling so she will stop doing that.
forfallonyy Posted at 8:41 pm on Aug. 31, 2008
