Alright. So there's this girl. She labels herself as my "best friend."
She recently got her first boyfriend, and I'm happy for her! She deserves it. I told her from the beginning not to worry about me and spend as much time with him as she can...

Well, now, she isn't talking to me anymore. She was supposed to call me tonight. She didn't. I know that she isn't with him. Wtf?
Her boyfriend invited me to go out with them, but she didn't even mention it to me. He said she was saying that I wouldn't want to go anyway... She acts like I would steal him away from her or something, WHICH I WOULDN'T DO. She tried to steal my boyfriend a long time ago, though.

Yesterday, she offered my arch enemy some candy in front of me. This bitch has yelled at me, threatened me, talked behind my back... and she offers her candy? Wtf? I would NEVER do that to her.

She's done things like this before. We didn't talk for 6 months because of her trying to butter up to my fat, nasty, MEAN archenemy.

So, my point is, should I dump my "best friend?"

Her boyfriend isn't being honest with her about other stuff, so I know that the end is near for them. I orginally intended to just wait around for her and be there when she needed me...
But isn't it wrong of her to completely dump me? Does it mean that she just hates me?
(she's always said she's jealous of me, because of the way I look and because I'm in college...)

I have a friend like that.
Basically what it comes down to is the fact that sooner or later, she'll be the only one trying to be friends with you. And only because she has no one else.
I wouldn't stick around for a bitch who is gone one minute and back the next.

If she's going to dump you over petty things, then why stick around and let her come back? She'll never learn her lesson if you let her keep treating you like this. She needs to learn somehow how to treat her supposed "best friends."

Took the words right out of my mouth.

I know you care for her, but it is quite obvious she is completely taking you for granted.  She is just going to have to learn that she can't just treat someone like shit and expect them to stay loyal to her.  In her eyes, she can turn her back on you as much as she wants, and when its convenient to her, she can go back to you and you'll still be waiting.  Sometimes you have to cut the cord and let them know that if they turn their back on you, you're not going to wait for them.

You don't realize what you have until it's gone...

Apply.

Move on. That type of friend causes gray hairs. You're too young for the 'salt and pepper' look.

same thing happened to me.

Let her learn the hard way.
