My mom always talks about how my aunt should leave my uncle alone for being gay.

She says that she'd have no problem with gay people, that she wouldn't care if she had a gay kid.

Well, the other day, reminded her I was into girls and that
I had a gf..she was mad/disappointed.
She thought me liking girls was just a "phase" its taking her awhile to accept me.
I just find it funny, that she said all those things before me telling her i had a gf..

It will take time for your mother to adjust, but once she learns that your mind is set, she'll accept it eventually.

Yeah, parents can be like that. They say things just to seem like nice people but once it happens to their son/daughter it's completely different.

I hope she accepts you now though.
