do ppl in your family ever get into big yelling fights? and end up saying hurtful things??  my dad and my bro did tonight because my brother is 18 and so irresponsible. he still doesn't have his highschool, never goes to school, comes in 4 in the morning everyday, is lazy, trashes the house etc and my dad got really fed up.  my bro yelled back saying "i hate you, your an asshole, your the worst father ever, im never talking to you again"  and then before he ran out of the house he yelled " bye asshole, hope u rott in hell "  to my dad. thats so mean i feel so bad for my dad now. he just wants his son to turn his life around :(

I used to be very cold hearted toward my parents, not that I ever told them to rot in hell though... But then again I had to deal with my mom saying things like "I wish I hadn't ruined my life, I don't want to deal with you and your father every day, things didn't used to be like this. If I could I'd leave and never come back."
We've worked through our issues though and things are very good now, it might be tough now, but it wont be like that forever. You should try to be nice to your dad though, to make him feel better.

Yeah, that happens alot around here.

Last year it got really bad, my brother attacked me and chocked me. I was considering pressing charges, especially since I got pneumonia shortly after (my lungs have a history of over compensating after injury, so I get pneumonia like symptoms from my bodies own anti-bodies) .

He ended up moving out after that, and my sister and parents blamed me for it.

Were all good now. All on speaking terms and what not.

my 14 year old brother screams stuff like that at me, my mom, and my brother. i grew up in an abusive household, so yelling makes me sad and angry, but i'm so used to it that it pretty much doesn't phase me, and i end up yelling at them to stop yelling.

My whole family is like that.  We are always yelling and screaming at each other.  We don't call each other names but it hurts just the same.
