| The flu shot is actually a controversial topic. Many people claim that the flu virus mutates each year so we just get last year's flu shot, while others say that the flu shot can actually make you sick if you have a below-normal immune system. So who knows. |

Well I hope that is what it is. I haven't had the flu for 10 years now and the last time I did have it I was almost hospitalized for having a temperature of 106. So I think my immunity it slightly elevated than most. |

| The flu shot doesn't protect against every kind of flu; just the most common ones. At least I think that's how it works. |
