She was my childhood best friend, ended up moving away. She came back though, during highschool, and stayed with me through our first year of college. But she's so different now. We don't have that much in common.

I've come to realize that she's a very manipulative person, convincing people to stay with her, to stay her friends, even though she doesn't care that much about them. I've realized this, but she makes me feel needed, and so I've stayed.

Not now. I need out of this abusive relationship, and I realize that if I don't step up and tell her I'm out, I won't gain up the nerve for quite awhile.

What do I tell her? How do I break it to her?

Cut contact with her.
