I recently felt my mood lighten, after being severely depressed for 6 months.
But then, I have to hear my friend complain about her life, when she has a great boyfriend, a great relationship with her father, countless awards in soccer, and great grades.
I have none of the above, which is partly what depresses me, because I believe/d I'll never have it.
But anyways, the point is, I wish my friend would stop complaining about her life. If she doesn't want all that, I'll be glad to have it.
edit: She says her life sucks because some people on her soccer team don't like her, because she's better than them.
Only mine was a total hipocrit and would say that I did it too and she knows my life is worse then hers.
Sorry, I want to let you know it's going to be alright, but I really don't know. I hope everything will be alright.

Same can be said about your friend.
I don't like the idea that just because someone "seems" to have everything, it gives them no right to complain. That's just bullshit.
I completely understand where you're coming from, but she has a different sort of pain than you do and it doesn't make her problems any less than yours.
That's the point.
