I talked to my mom about how i felt for the first time...
About how im mad at her for drinking, smoking, fighting with my dad, getting out of control. For yelling, blowing things out of proportion, always screaming at my sister and i. Never dropping things, holding grudges, talking to me about how she hates everything...

And it didn't even matter.
She didn't even care.
She kinda seemed like she did,
And yet here she is about 3 days later screaming at me for being a liar and being an idiot and saying "you wonder why im a fucking alcoholic!"

which is just fucking great.
i had never talked to her before.
and now i know i never will again.

because i dont my heart just sitting out there,
all my feelings and thoughts,
and her just stomping on them.

Move out. That's what I ended up having to do, and it was so much better that I did.

 I wish.
 I'm 14.

I was only 15. Do you have a family member who would let you live with them? A close friend? I moved in with my grandmother when I left.

My sister who has her own place now would but i'd have to change schools cause she is kinda far and i don't have a license or anything and she doesn't have the time to drive me, she takes school full time and works 2 jobs.

go ahead and move in with her.  It would be a lot better than living with an alcohol whore.

bit harsh?

and i have to finish school...

My mom's the same way. She put me into foster care when I was 12 and didn't look back. My grandma had to invite me to the Hannukah party she was throwing this year because although she had my number she didn't feel the need to call.

Don't worry about it you'll be stronger than she is in spite of her.

Oh... trust me, I know how this feels. I told my mom all my feelings a few days ago and she just stood there and looked at me blankly.

It's not a very nice feeling, to finally open up to someone, and have them not give a shit. I'm sorry she isn't being respectful to your feelings, but it took a lot of courage for you to tell her how you felt. Be proud of yourself. That's a big step.

You know you can always PM me if you want to talk. :) Hang in there. x

Leave home, make yourself legally removed from your mom and find somewhere to live where you are under better circumstances
