So many of my friends are like that, and in some cases so am i. She probably just needs some space by herself to get things sorted in her own head. Then after that she may start talking. Speaking from being on both sides of the argument, although its hard to stand back and watch her like this she needs to be able to deal with whatevers bothering her on her own terms. Sometimes in these situations a help just makes a hinderence. I'm a worrier too. All you can do is make sure she knows you're there to talk to and trust she'll come to you if need be. :)

I think basically she just wants to deal with it alone. Although you can try to help her, there's nothing much you can do if she doesn't want to talk about it. All you can do is offer to listen to her if she wants someone to talk to.

I have a friend like that. I just have to let her go off, and cry alone. After that shes usually good to go, or atleast talk to me.

I don't think there's really anything you *can* do to fix the problem abruptly. Maybe something really traumatic happened to her recently and she hasn't gotten over the initial shock yet. I'd say give her time. Be supportive, be nice to her, call her, just don't talk about the problem. Eventually she'll start to get over it and she'll start opening up to you about it. This is what I've seen in my experience; it takes time.

All i can suggest is Give her time and space to think stuff over... I even tend to do that myself..and i don't mean to |
