I think insulting you and harassing you is quite different. If anything, she is mildly insulting you. If you have a job, or actually two, then you can definitely contribute to her household. You have been living there for a long time, and ten bucks ain't shit, especially when it comes to family. You will have to learn that sort of responsibility sooner or later--cell phone and internet aren't shit compared to what you will have to do later in life when you grow up. I am sure you are probably leaving some details out subconsciously to make yourself sound more innocent than you really are. I think you should just respect her wishes while living under her roof. She has the final word, not you.

You're living under her roof, and I don't know what age you are, but at some point you will have no choice but to pay your way. Either you do it now at a low amount, and contribute to your grandmothers household, or once you're legally old enough, she could kick you out quite easily. Insults aren't that bad, I wouldn't say she's harassing you either, I think you are blowing this out of proportion, actually. She might call you names and such, but even parents do that. If she accuses you of doing something you didn't do, for example, moving the chair, explain to her calmly that you did not move it, or do whatever she has accused you of. Be the bigger person and count to ten, don't let her get to you, and you should really contribute to the household. While you may have other financial requirements to meet, balancing out NEEDS (place to live) against WANTS (weekly book) is somewhere that's worth starting. Think about what your outgoings could be if you weren't living at home. One day you'll have to give up a lot more to keep a roof over yourself. If you treat her with respect, she has nothing to hold against you.

Move out? Not sure what to tell you. That doesn't seem like a very enjoyable lifestyle at all.
