can temporary blindness occur due to pressure behind the eyes, say from a sinus infection?

I have a disease and if to much pressure gets on the optic nerves it will bust and you will be completely blind. PM me if you want.

I've got no damn clue I'm not a doctor, but generally I THINK people would seek some medical help if you got blind in an eye???

Yeah can be. It can also be caused by things like a detached retener and vasa vagal. Depending on your age.
