How much wight would I lose if I only drank water (and not ate) for 6 days. Please no bullshit answers, or "it's not safe", I know this. Please just be honest.

Okay "The Enlightened One" is clearly NOT enlightened at all. i've gone on a 7 day fast and i did not die. millions of people go on fasts for even longer than 7 days and they are STILL ALIVE. If you drink water throughout your fast you will be okay. I was losing about 1-3 pounds per day. But it's different for everyone. and p.s. don't let the "Enlightened One" try to tell you any different. what a douchebag

Pointless, weight loss is facilitated by a higher # of calories burned then consumed, which can be achieved by increasing physical activity and eating more, smaller meals a day. Cut out fatty foods such as chips and soda.

A water fast is by far one of the stupidest shit I've heard as a trainer-in-training.

you might lose the weight during the 6 days but you'd put it all back on again. pointless venture.

This.

As soon as you eat again the weight would come back.

I have to be a certain weight for a sport, I'm a guy, and I've been working out all summer expecting to go up a rank in size, but I just have a lot more muscle, not weight.

Your body is good at storing fat when you starve yourself. Vair annoying. I have done a liquid diet for about 3 weeks but I had smoothies and meal replacement milkshakes and the such like and I lost about 3/4 of a stone.

S/he's not gonna die. Depending on how much you eat now, it could make you very sick. Rather than fast, just eat less.

Besides, the first 10 or so pounds you lose IS water. You're just putting the water right back in, and when you finish the fast, you'll probably be so hungry that you eat your weight back.

AngelFxxk Posted at 6:54 pm on Aug. 18, 2008
Nothing probably.
Your body would go into panic mode and start storing fat.
