Can you get tan if you're underwater? Kevin's swimming right now and I'm worried that he'll get too tan if he's out there for long. Tan is okay but too tan is definitely not.

About the points.. I have them.

So what is better for getting rid of massive amounts of pasty?  Staying under the water (in sugnlight of course) or just getting your skin wet?

yes, the light rays intensify the UV rays so it works better then when your out, but dont stay in long because you will get sun stroke

No, you cannot. The water blocks the UV rays that cause tanning.

Just the opposite, actually.

I knew it was one of the two, the idea seemed kind of fishy but that's what I remembered. Oh well.

RockerTori106 Posted at 1:24 pm on Aug. 20, 2008
Yes. The water absorbs the sunlight, making it easier to tan underwater.
Amelle Posted at 1:24 pm on Aug. 20, 2008
Not underwater but the bits that are poking out of the water will get tan
