Duke Posted at 7:02 am on Sep. 26, 2008 You confuse pain with sensation. It's a matter of degree. Not feeling pain would have nothing to do with going to the bathroom. You would still have the sensory awareness of going to the bathroom without it being painful. I don't know about you, but when I get the sensation that I need to go to the bathroom, I don't characterize it as painful. Of course pain is a very difficult concept to narrow down.
