Just wondering, they would have done an HIV test, to rule that out, correct? I would think it would have been one of the first things they test for, since it is one of the most severe and it affects your T4 cells.

If you're worried about it, get one of those 20 min HIV tests done where they just scrape your gums. Because the hypothyroid medication isn't working for my symptoms, so i'm thinking that it isn't the condition that I have. But it doesn't make any sense that if my T4 levels are low, they wouldn't test for HIV.
