Which occupation is superior?

Oh, and is there a difference between them?

I have three friends (social) that have their Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree.  They have medical knowledge on how to fix problems through proper physical activities where chiropractors believe that they can do the same thing by bone and muscle manipulation.

If you want to make a lot of money starting the day you finish school choose pharmacy.  $100 grand or more right out of school in a field that there has been a short supply of for several decades is setting your life up for security.

The difference is an MD an a DPT
Chiropracters do not get MDs.

Dude. What. The. Fuck.

I was going to make this EXACT topic.

I think that physical therapists are better. I have been to both for my back, and with physical therapy, it didn't get better, but it didn't get worse.
With the chiropractor the condition of my back has deteriorated SO MUCH in just two weeks. I'm in more pain than ever. Plus, with PT you actually do stuff. With the chiropractor, she just cracks my back and neck, then does some funky thing with her table that makes my hips go up and down.

Both say that I need to strengthen my core, but only my physical therapists gives me exercises to do so.

Physical therapists help you get better after surgery or severe injury while chiropractors help you with current ailments dealing mainly with your back and hips...

I'm so very glad you added the "I don't know" option, because I really have no clue. I think chiropractors are a little more specialized than physical therapists, but other than that, I don't know what separates them.

physical therapists.

they have master's degrees, are generally athletes themselves (first hand experience), and work in real hospitals

Physical Therapists deal with the whole body where Chiropractors only deal with the back & spine i think...
