Ok, i'll just say this straight. Im five feet four inches and weigh 220 pounds. i havent had a period in over 4 years(started at 10). and i'm only 15. i honestly need your opinion on what i could do to lose weight. I have a thyroid disorder which makes it really really really hard to lose weight. believe me i've tried and it just doesnt come off. i'm not obsessed about my weight or whatever but i would like to feel comfortable without having to slouch my shoulders everywhere i go. i am currently doing herbalife. if anybodys done it, could you tell me your thoughts/results about  the product. PLEASE HELP ME MAKE A FITNESS REGIMEN.

The problem with diets is that they work short time but are not a fix.  Diet aids such as pills, herbs and liquids do more harm than good.  Recognizing you have a problem and recognizing how long it took you to become overweight and how long it will take to fix it is important.  Its a lifestyle change.

I would suggest that you take a look at a food regimen that diabetics use by counting carbs, protein, fat and fiber and sticking to it combined with at least thirty minutes of cardio type exercises daily.  Increase as your ability increases.  Give yourself six months and I will assure you that you will be down 50 pounds at least within 6 months.  Remember its a lifestyle change.

oh god. do not do herbalife. my mother is on it. have you seen a doctor about this? usually they will be the first ones to tell you that diets such as herbalife are not smart ideas. they will be able to recommend either the appropriate dietrician or refer you to a personal trainer to help you out in losing weight.
herbalife is not a smart idea. have you ever heard of yoyo dieting? because you're falling prey to it right now.

Especially because of the thyroid, you would have to cut your meal portions down drastically. And if you wanted to see results, it would have to be by a lot very quickly. However, I don't recommend this, since it's unhealthy. I suggest seeing a nutritionist?
