Well, on my legs, and on the back sides of my calves have been getting these HORRIBLE cramps. Only when I go to bed, but it's almost every night.

I'm a pretty active girl and I run a lot, and partake in sports.

Why do you think I'm getting these cramps and how do I make them stop?

You need to stretch more and drink more water. See a doctor if it lasts... You could have restless leg syndrome.

I have something similar to that. I have to take muscle relaxants before I go to bed.

Yeah. They're horrible. They last anywhere from a minute to five, and they hurt like no other.

My mom told me to eat more bananas. :/

Maybe your not stretching before being active in sports and stuff. And maybe stretch before bed or something.

Don't sleep with your legs bent. That's the main cause usually.
