I'm 18, female and have scoliosis.
My curve percentage is around 23% but the
doctor said there was no point having a brace to help.
I've been really wanting to grow a few inches for ages as I want to become a model and in order to be one I
have to meet a certain height requirement.
Is there anything I can do to straighten my spine
to perhaps grow a few before its too late?
thanks

Sorry, but having scoliosis and being a model isn't the most welcome combination.
Erm, yes it is.

Do you know how many models with Scoliosis there are?

Talk to your ortho, ask your GP. Maybe tell them you're getting back pain?

Oh, my friend has this. Her doctor could tell if she was going to grow any more, by looking at her pelvis or something like that.

That's something you should go ahead and bring up to your doctor. Ask him if there is anyway, even exercises that may help you straighten your spine up some.
