| Definitely. I started out by going for short runs every other day and built it up. I recommend you do the same. Try to find a healthy diet as well. Balanced. Occasional treats but loads of fruit/vedge/protein etc. Protein is really good for trying to lose weight because it is lean and good for muscles. Don't weigh yourself. Use a tape measure i would say every month to work out if you are losing weight. You will be building up muscle by running (which is good because the more muscle you have-the faster your metabolism is-the more cal you burn-more weight you lose) but muscle is heavier than fat so you may think you are putting it on when you actually aren't. Any type of exercise will help you lose weight. Do it at least 3 times a week although apparently you only need to do 1 hour exercise 2 times a week to lose weight, i don't believe it. Hope that helps! Message me if you have any questions because i've been through the whole phase! lol |
