I started the "Yasmine" birth control pill last Sunday and for some reason my vaginal area has been extremely itchy and sore ever since, it is driving me insane! What is wrong with me?!

I believe vaginal irritation is a side effect of Yasmin. Do you have a followup appointment with your GYN to discuss the birth control? Give your body a chance to adjust to the hormones, and if it persists, bring it up with your doctor.

Your pills should come with a packet or you can do some reasearch online.  You will be able to find user reviews and common side effects related to Yaz.  If your symptoms aren't normal, call your OB/GYN tomorrow.

maybe switch to a new one. Your body will be weird for a few weeks  to a few months, like messed up periods and such but I have never heard of itchiness. Maybe call your doctor and ask him/her
