Replies Innuendo Girl Posted at 7:30 pm on Oct. 14, 2008 I believe vaginal irritation is a side effect of Yasmin. Do you have a followup appointment with your GYN to discuss the birth control? Give your body a chance to adjust to the hormones, and if it persists, bring it up with your doctor. Audrey Forrest Posted at 7:03 pm on Oct. 14, 2008 Your pills should come with a packet or you can do some reasearch online.  You will be able to find user reviews and common side effects related to Yaz.  If your symptoms aren't normal, call your OB/GYN tomorrow. Your body will be weird for a few weeks  to a few months, like messed up periods and such but I have never heard of itchiness.
