I had my left cartilage pierced years ago. I was told to (and did) get in done professionally. (As in a tattoo parlor). I heard stories from friends and even knew of someone in school who went about getting it done with a piercing gun and eventually had to get surgery because the earring was inserted wrong. I paid under fifty dollars and I don't remember it hurting much, though he did tug at it, which wasn't at all pleasant. But besides that, I had no problems. |

| I got an orbital done. It hurt yes, it was only 30 bucks. They take extra care in cleaning. It's worth it, just have to keep up on it like any other piercing really |

| You can get your cartilage pierced at any normal ear-piercing place. It doesn't cost much more than a normal ear piercing, and the pain is minimal. It only hurts for a few seconds. |
