I've been having a constant headache for the past two weeks mixed with dizziness, weakness, nausea, vomiting and overall, hell. My doctor wants me to get a CT Scan because I have all the symptoms of a brain tumor:
Headaches that tend to be worse in the morning and ease during the day Seizures or convulsions Nausea or vomiting Weakness or loss of feeling in the arms or legs Stumbling or lack of coordination in walking Abnormal eye movements or changes in vision Drowsiness Changes in personality or memory Changes in speech
Except for seizures or convulsions. If that's not it, she'll send me to the neurology unit for migraine treatment.
But I'm scared. What if it is a brain tumor? What if it's cancer? What will I do then? I'm freaking out.
It's better they find it now than letting it kill you.
Too true.
I wouldn't be worried about the test itself. Its just a little claustrophobic and loud. Don't worry about it.
Keep you mind on something else. Seeing as you haven't had a seizure, your probably Ok. Just do what your told by the doctor, and hopefully everything will end up alright. :)
