No, laxatives will not make you lose weight. It's important to go number two because it gets rid of the shit--duh. However, laxatives force it out which is not natural and only the natural way will aid in losing weight.

They both will help/make you loose weight though right?
No. All they will do is cause the loss of weight of the water and the faecal matter.

They should not be used to lose weight. Particularly diuretics. These cause diuresis, which means less water is reabsorbed into the blood at the kidneys, so more water is lost than normal. This can be very dangerous, as an excessive loss of water will cause you to become dehydrated and perhaps even hypertonic.

Laxatives stimulate bowel movements and often less water is reabsorbed back into the blood as there is not as much time for the food to be digested too. This can lead to malnourishment as you don't get the nutrients you need.

Please don't try to use these products to lose weight. It's not what they were made for and using them for what you seem to want to do can be very dangerous.

 sounds reasonable  ^^

Uh, not fat. Just water weight, or in the case of laxatives, weight of waste.

Well, I know a laxative makes you shit a lot. Dunno about the other one, though.
