whats the best way to take you bpm. when i take ten seconds worth of beats and times by six  at rest it varies between 60, 72, and 80. is this very unhealthy? i know resting heart beat is generally between 60 and 80 but why so much variation?

You're taking a very small amount of time, that's why.  If you took 2 seconds and timesed by 30 you'd get a massive variation, right?

Time for a minute.  Or two minutes and divide by two.

i actually sit there counting for 60 seconds lol xx
and idk... are you eating properly? is there a history of heart problems in your family? are you thinking about stressful things sometimes? etc etc etc...

eating properly prolly not, i have a heart murmur nd bicuspid aortic valve. and i have panic disorder. i almost feel like i can control my heart beat if i take a few deep breaths first.
