I know guys hate reading posts about periods, so stop now if you don't want to hear it.

Ok, so I've been using birth control for two months, so i've gone through two packs of pills. This week is the "placebo" week, where I should be having my period. Well, last month, my period started right after I stopped taking the hormone pills, so I think this is how it's always going to be that way- since its the bill and it is regulating me.

My issue is this: Its been about 3 days since I stopped taking the hormone pills, so my period should have started. I'm a virgin and only take the pill for regulation purposes, so obviously no baby. But is stress enough to override the pill? I didn't get a period before the pill when I was stressed, so could my stress be canceling out the hormones?

I know thats complicated, but has any one experienced stress stopping a period while they were on the pill? Thanks.

No, I didn't. Mine were like clockwork when I was on the pill.

I think you should ask your doctor. Even a pharmacist could help.

Thanks, it started this evening. I was worried for a bit, but I think it was just stress, or this is my normal. Who knows, right?

Yeah, I know. Stress can screw it up so much, it's insane.
