He or she asks b/c it can effect certain medications or what they need to look for during check ups,etc. It's actually really stupid of you not to tell the doctor the truth. You can even tell them you smoke weed, it's not like they would tell the cops or anything. All they'll really do is try to dissuade you from doing it, and maybe tell your parents. But they already know, so no biggie.
