So, I guess I'll be changing my birth control over to a new kind now.  Something a little stronger, because that might help with the problems I was having before.

Has anyone else switched from a lower dosage to something a bit higher?  Any significant changes or side effects?

what are the differences with switching?

Switching to a higher dose actually worked for me.  When I originally went on the pill, my doctor put me on Loestrin because she said it was light and she preferred starting girls my size on smaller doses.  However, that didn't work.  So she switched me again to a slightly higher dose with Portia, but that still didn't work, and even made my symptoms worse.  Then, I went to the family doctor, and he put me on a higher dose of BC (Kelnor) and it's working for me quite well.

So yes, there were significant differences both times I switched to a higher dose.
