If not, ask your parents to make an appointment with one. The antibiotics will clear any infection up. One thing my mum used was sucking on a whole clove. There are actually no NHS dentists in the area i've moved to. The one I did see was an emergency one, and foreign so i couldn't even understand her, i just took the prescription as they were pretty much pushing me out the door. yeah, £16.20 for a 30 second appointment and £7 on top of that for the pills. Themakingofagod Posted at 10:16 pm on Dec. 18, 2008 If they are infected and impacted you will need them out.  If they are growing in straight and your jaw has room for them, they can stay in, but seeing as you're getting a lot of pain, and needing to be on antibiotics, I'm going to guess you need them taken out.  The operation is nothing to worry about.  Afterward, I'm not gonna lie to you, it hurts like hell for a while, and you definitely have to keep up on cleaning it.  I got a small piece of food lodged in the wound, and my entire jaw got infected, but as long as you clean it, and do as they say, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. blufindr Posted at 10:15 pm on Dec. 18, 2008 Chuck the pills here if you don't want them. mnight Posted at 10:15 pm on Dec. 18, 2008 Here's the thing... Getting your wisdom teeth removed sucks.  It just sucks.  Bad.  But it's something we all have to do, so you just have to accept that it's going to be agonizingly painful, and it's really not that bad.  And the pain from them erupting is somewhat comparable to the pain after getting them removed... unless you get dry socket.  If you do... good luck.
