whenever i shave down there i get terrible razor bumps and ingrowns, all of which are incredibly painful and annoying to deal with. what can i do to make it smooth and possibly not as painful?

make to shave with the hair, not against.
and shave every or every other day so that the hair doesnt get long enough to get ingrown hairs. those suckkkk.

waxing doesn't hurt as much as you'd expect, and you get used to it after a few times, so have a try with that...

Lol she asked about shaving. There's not a lot you can do really. just go gentle and make sure there's lots of water on it while you shave. Good razor helps as well.

thank you.
should you use shaving cream,soap,etc...thats what i always do but maybe that's just drying it out or making it worse?

Shaving cream's good, and a good sharp razor. If you still have problems with it, I'd recomend hair removal cream.

Vaseline afterwards, it is soothing and softens the hair as it grows back.

wow i never thought of that. thanks so much.

Shave with the hair not aganist. That's what's causing the bumps. Use a lot of soap and a good razor.

Next time you shave, shave along with the direction of your hair. Don't shave against it. Shaving against it is a lot easier and faster, but it will cause razor bumps and irritation.
