You can get them on your nose and near your eyes. My sister got that when she was a toddler, because she didn't really know not to touch it. It's not transferred that way, but you should go see a doctor anyway and get checked out to make sure. It could be any one of a number of things and we're not doctors on LW so we really can't tell. shadylanes Posted at 8:34 am on Jan. 9, 2009 I have seen people that had cold sores in their eyes before.  You could get some medicine for it, as I imagine it's fairly uncomfortable.  I heard valtrex may become an OTC drug soon, but if you're in pain go the doctor.
