It seems like every few months, randomly while I'm asleep in bed (or trying to sleep) I notice myself heating up. I normally turn the air on and strip to cool down, but if I can't cool myself down, my stomach usually starts hurting really badly. I end up being sick the entire night, usually with diarrhea, but with the urge to puke. If I sit in the tub with ice cold water that usually takes care of the urge to puke.

Could this be IBS or something? I've tried google searches but nothing really matches my symptoms.

Try cutting back on processed foods, try avoiding food about 3hrs before bedtime....and remember to drink adequate clean water b/c it could be chronic dehydration...ur body should actually be cooling down at night not heating up

Ah, doctor shopping. Just keep trying, and give them a chance. My doctor was a bit weird at first (he's very blunt) but now I really like him.

Curious. Ask your doctor, as it could be anything. Maybe you have a food intolerance?

I just thought to, but as of now  I don't have a doctor. Long story, but I'm looking for another.
