I've been forgetting to drink water and for the last few hours I've been feeling really dizzy and thirsty so I've been drinking lots of water, and I still now feel dizzy and thirsty but i just can't physically drink any more water, like I feel like I'll explode if I drink anymore water.
how can I re-hydrate myself?

maybe something else is wrong with you
maybe you should add something in your water - like lemon juice, so you get some vitamins too
or eat a soup so you can get water and minerals

Checking for skin turgor as has been mentioned is a good guide, but not always 100%. In really young people, their skin elasticity is the best its going to be and it will not show during early stages of dehydration. In the elderly, their skin will normally "tent" when it is pinched, regardless.

Dehydration is measured by input and output. If both of these are down, then you need to rehydrate. Just drink water, but not a lot at once, Drink smaller amounts over longer periods of time. If you are urinating normally and your urine is not dark and cloudy, you are not dehydrated.

pinch the skin on the back of your hand together, if it sticks together then you're dehydrated...

That's what I was going to say :(

If it doesn't stick up, you're fine. You just need some rest.
