I think you should talk to somone. There are free online counsolings but I forgot their adresses. You can search for "your-helpline" or something. Everything will be kept in secret and anonimic, they really help, and no one would know about it. |

| Suprisingly, not eating makes you feel even worse when you DO eat. It makes your stomach turn. So if you eat regularly, you'll feel alot better. |

I think you should go speak to a counsellor about this. Also as a side note, I find that organized sport helps immensely with body image. 1) you get exercise, which helps you produce endorphins, which makes you feel good; 2) you have to eat properly to fuel your body for the sport, and I've also found that you can get away with eating a lot more than normal because you burn it all off right away anyways (plus your body looks good from the exercise).; 3) you meet new people; and 4) you work towards achieving something (which always feels great).
I have basketball practice for about thre and a half hours a day. And I jog 4miles every other day. I also do 100 sit-ups a day |

| Technically, you are sick. You sound very unhealthy in mind and body at the moment. I do not believe your father meant it as a derogatory comment, as 'sick' has more than one meaning. If he did, then shame on him, although it sounds like he does care for you. You need help. Eating is a natural part of life. I know from experience that, after you don't eat for awhile, your appetite can decrease. You'll feel very weak--going down a simple set of stairs can be taxing. Dizzy spells and black outs are equally bad. There are even worse side effects to not eating. Internal damage. Even hair loss. Though this is getting to the extreme. I just want to impress upon you the seriousness of your ordeal were you to continue upon this path of self-destruction. You are not overweight. In the least, make yourself eat even if you don't want to. At least two meals a day. |

See the doctor and/or counselor. They can help you get over the feelings of guilt, and help get you back eating. Its not healthy not to eat, and the reason you don't get hungry anymore, is because your body's metabolism has switched over to stored fats. You will only lose weight until there is no more fat to lose, then the physical pain will begin. Because your body WILL begin to digest itself to keep you alive. If anything, eat an apple and then go see your school counselor. they can help you.
I dont want anyone to know about this. My dad would kill me! He yelled at me today because I didnt want to eat lunch, and he called me a sick girl |

You really should eat, it is bad not to.
Because it's just that simple. Maybe you juust aren't hungry, but I think it's that you are feeling overweight, when you CLEARLY not. I think you should talk to a professional about it. Before things escalate and you find yourself dropping sizes by the twos.

Are you not eating because you feel your overweight?
Kinda ya... But I feel guilty when I eat 2
Listen, I'm going to be frank here because i believe it's truly the only way to get people who have your mind frame to listen. So i apologize for anything mean ahead of time. You are not overweight. You are actually underweight for your size. Which is not healthy. You have an unrealistic body image of yourself. Eating does not have to be a bad thing. You don't have to feel guilty. Starving yourself is not the right way to go about things because when you do eat you'll just eat so much protein and carbs to replenish your muscle mass that you've lost that you'll end up feeling drained and lazy afterwards. Your spiralling yourself into a dangerous and potentially harmful lifestyle. Your boyfriend has every right to be worried. Remember that a diet isn't about starving yourself, it's about balancing what you eat every day, every week. Hell, we've been learning abut the five food groups since we were in what? Kindergarten? Its all about balance, its also about exercise. If you just sit around the house all day and eat, or not eat, your not going to be a healthy person. Society has probably made you feel that being skinny is the only way to go, but being a healthy person is the proper way to go. You have to eat, the reason why you feel so sick afterwards is probably from the fact that you haven't been eating. I'm guessing you've been feeling drained lately? I'm not a physician, or a health specialist, but i would suggest talking to someone like that to help you get back on track towards a healthy lifestyle. And if you don't know how to directly contact someone like that then i would suggest going to your school counsellor. I wish you all the best, -BM |

| That really isnt good. I never lose weight while going through this "phase" of mine, but I haven't gained any weight in the past 3 years either. Like others have mentioned, you need to force yourself to eat, even if its small like a bowl of cereal or something. Also take some vitamins so at least your body has something to run off of. |
