whenever i stand up after sitting down or when i get up in the morning i always get really light headed..
why does this happen?

sometimes i have to hold onto something because i feel like im gonna fall over. And every now and then things turn white.
it also causes headaches.

why does this happen?

what kinds of things could the doctor say it is??

An imbalance in your Equilibrium.

this happens to me sometimes.  but it only lasts a couple seconds so i don't care
Define Your Line Posted at 8:47 pm on June 17, 2008
Maybe you should go see your doctor.
Autumndaze Posted at 8:46 pm on June 17, 2008
Omg, the same thing was/is happening to me.

I don't know if its the same for you.
I'm supposed to wear glasses. (I don't know if it had anything to do with it) But.. as soon as I started to wear my glasses again all of that went away. I don't know, go to your optometrist?

It happens to me when I don't wear my glasses. I should go too.

Go to your doctor.

Also, do you have an ear infection?

It could be an imbalance in your/with your(whatever it is) Equilibrium.

Could be anything.

i read recently that the most common reason girls/women feel lightheaded and get dizzy is because they arent eating enough calories...it may seem like you are, but pay more attention to how much and how often you eat
josphat10101 Posted at 8:42 pm on June 17, 2008
dont jump up. take your time getitng up.

if that doesnt work, talk to your doctor.

catielove09 Posted at 8:40 pm on June 17, 2008

I used to have/still have that.  It helps to close your eyes for a second after you get up.
jessica20110 Posted at 8:40 pm on June 17, 2008
I was never quite sure why it happened to me, but I got it all the time for no reason. It's just go black. Now I get it because of my eating disorder, I know that, and I've fallen over before.
Jmmgamer2010 Posted at 8:39 pm on June 17, 2008
