But multiplied by what? Can someone walk me through how to do them? Here are two examples: e/-4+8 < 1 t+3/2 < -8 I can do linear equations, but when the fractions are in there, I get stumped. I forget what to do with them.

I remembered that when a fraction's in an equation, it must be multitplied.  But I didn't remember by what.  Now I know for sure it's the denominator.  I think I've got it now (hopefully, since the test is on Tuesday).
