The only real difference between a regular and apologetic letter will be the tone of it. In an apologeic letter you'll want to sound as if you're reflecting on what you did, feel remorse, and express that in an attempt to obtain forgiveness. And you're best off to go about this in the most straight forward manner, too. Open the thing with a "dear so and so" and then start off by reflecting on what you did - first what you did, then what compelled you to do it, why that was wrong, and how you hurt whoever you did and how you feel remorse for this. It's easy. Honestly.[/quote]

I need introduction "openings" for three apologetic letters for a prank I pulled at school. The school doesn't require them, but my step-dad insists I have to for PR purposes, he knows things like this. Before you go, "Wow, spoiled rich kid gets pulled out of fire by his dad, what a faggot" trust me, there was a price. If nothing the bruises will attest. So please, help me out?
